Heat Sensors, High Temp Sensor - for Cylinder Mounting
For use on vessels of any size, these sensors indicate threatening temperatures by sounding an alarm, and activating an indicator light on a Sea-Fire ESRS Fire Suppression Monitor panel.
They are available in two models - open and enclosed.
• Open model (131-303) is designed to be mounted on the fire extinguisher cylinder, and is set to activate at 151°F (which is 24°F lower than the system discharge temperature of 175°F)
• Enclosed model (131-304) can be installed anywhere in the engine compartment, and is set to activate at 140°F
• Multiple sensors can be mounted in an engine room, depending on desired sensitivity
• Although they can work with several of Sea-Fire's ESRS Fire Suppression Panels, the Rectangular (131-462) and Round (131-463) panels are specifically labeled to work with these heat sensors
