The matching fastening ring can be tightened by hand, or with a special tool, supplied standard, with the cowl vent. If tightened with the tool, there is little chance your cowl vent will ever be stolen.

AISI 316 Stainless Steel

Both the cowls and the rings are made of heavy duty, investment cast, stainless steel. These cowls can revolve and be removed without any tools simply by loosening the upper ring by hand. A Monel mosquito screen and a stainless steel cover plate to close off the cowl ventilator can be purchased as options. Comes complete with threaded ring nut and male deck ring.

These cowl ventilators are made of flexible white PVC with red on the inside. The matching fastening ring can be tightened by hand, or with a special tool, supplied standard, with the cowl vent. If tightened with the tool, there is little chance your cowl vent will ever be stolen.
