It is simple to describe this Teak and Holly plywood — it is beautiful.
Teak and Holly plywood is manufactured with a phenolic glue so it is the equivalent of a marine grade plywood. It is made with 1mm thick face veneers which yields a nice thick wear layer. It is available in four different thicknesses.
This Teak and Holly Marine plywood works well with tooling. Although silica in teak will dull edged tools quickly and the natural oils will load up sand paper, the teak marine plywood is desirable as "bright" finished transoms, hatches and visible components. The Teak and Holly Marine plywood looks very nice installed as a traditional cabin sole.
