Teak plywood is typically used for structural and interior components.
It is particularly desireable where it will be "bright" finished - such as varnished transoms, hatches, and interior woodwork.

• Easy to work, but naturally occurring silica in the wood will dull edged tools, and natural oils will load sandpaper
