 Customer Service Our Policies Privacy Policy Here at Fisheries Supply, we are concerned about keeping your information private, that is why we have two log-in procedures: One to enter the site and another to complete purchasing item(s). We also do not keep your credit card information on our website; although it may be an inconvenience we are conscience that your privacy remains.
Freight Policy All shipments are F.O.B. our warehouse or original shipping point in the case of factory direct to customer. Please check your incoming orders carefully at the time of arrival for shortage and/or damage. You must note any damage or shortage on the delivering carrier’s delivery receipt. If necessary, file your claim directly with that carrier. WE CANNOT file these claims for you. We will be happy to advise you if you have a problem. Some items which are too heavy or too large to be shipped UPS will be shipped by Common Carrier. These items will be shipped “Freight Collect” and cannot be refused when delivery is attempted. Remember that motor freight can be very expensive. If you refuse delivery, or cancel a truck freight order after it has been shipped, you are still subject to all freight and storage charges. Freight Allowance Policy Freight allowance is available to marine and industrial accounts only within Washington and the Portland, OR area. Orders must be over $350.00 net per shipment. Your account must be current within terms or the freight allowance deduction will not be allowed. Copy of paid freight billing must accompany remittance to Fisheries Supply. Haz-Mat charges are not deductible and will not be passed on at our net cost. Freight Allowance applies to normal stock items only. Shipment could be delayed for lack of stock. Freight Allowance does not apply to special prices or discounts. Exceptions on Freight Allowance Policy: Any special orders, No Freight Allowance on Back Orders, West of Port Angeles and Washington Coast not included, Automotive equipment and batteries, wire mesh products and all items over 108" long, No bus, barge, UPS Blue or Red Label, Air Freight or Air Parcel Post. Shortage or Errors Please check your shipments as soon after arrival as possible for the correct Manufacturer’s Number and quantity of goods. Claims for errors must be made to us within 10 days of receipt of goods. Special Orders All Special Orders will require a deposit and will not be accepted for return. Defective Merchandise A prior return authorization is required and defective merchandise is subject to factory acceptance before we can issue credit or replacement. Also see Returned Goods. Returned Goods Our goal is customer satisfaction. If you need to return or exchange merchandise, please contact us within 30 days of purchase date for a return authorization. No merchandise will be accepted without prior authorization. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales invoice, AND must be sent prepaid in saleable condition in original packaging. All return merchandise, except orders that we incorrectly filled may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. Responsibility In this catalog we are including, for your information, much data relating to strength of materials and safe working loads. Manufacturers in whose judgment we have profound faith prepared the data. However, we do not assume responsibility or liability for the accuracy of any data within this catalog. Disclaimer of Warranty/Limitation of Remedies Fisheries Supply Company is strictly a vendor and not a manufacturer. All goods are sold by Fisheries Supply Company as is, without any warranties, express or implied, including the implied warrant of merchantability, except as stated herein. The only warranties of the goods are those, if any, which are expressly made by the manufacturer. The sole and exclusive remedies in the event of any breach of warranty are (1) a claim for return of the goods and refund of the purchase price or (2) replacement of the defective product. In no event shall Fisheries Supply Company be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Terms and Conditions Payment due as designated on invoice and statement. Otherwise, goods will be shipped on a cash basis. Minimum shipped order is $10.00. Cash Sales To eliminate costly C.O.D. fees, we encourage the use of the following credit cards when ordering by phone: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We will not use C.O.D. unless a pre-established account has been approved with Fisheries Supply. Credit Card Sales We accept credit cards for telephone, fax, Internet and mail orders, but for those orders requiring shipping to customers, the credit card holder’s billing address must be the same as the shipping address. Payment of net 30 accounts balances by credit card not allowed. We accept debit cards for point of purchase sales. Pricing Manufacturer’s list prices shown in this catalog are for reference purposes only. Due to market changes beyond our control, we recommend that you call for current accurate prices. Prices are subject to change without notice. Possession of this price list does not constitute an offer to sell at these prices.
