Description
This removeable cleat locks into Burnewiin Gunwhale Mounts (sold separately). The cleat can be inserted in any orientation, and with multiple mounts installed, can be placed where it is most needed on the boat. The fender whip is attached through holes in the base, leaving the cleat itself available for additional uses, like securing a dinghy painter.
The self-hitching line allows for simple fender height adjustments and the combination can be easily removed and stowed when necessary. Small boats get an additional fender cleat. (NOT recommended to use the fender cleat for primary mooring of larger boats). You will also find there are all kinds of other imaginative uses for this product.
