Inboard engines with raw water cooling that run in salt or brackish water need to be flushed with fresh water after use and to prevent costly corrosion during winter or off-season storage. Forespar® has designed a simple single valve system that makes this maintenance procedure easy.

With the Marelon Engine Flush Out Valve system, all it takes is a garden hose and the throw of a handle to run fresh water or anti-freeze through your inboard engine.
The "Y" valve is built right into the U.L. approved seacock making engine flushing a breeze.

Regular fresh water flushing will extend the life of your engine’s cooling system. Now you can winterize easier and flush your engine regularly without the cumbersome changing of hoses, using pumps, or other equipment.

NOTE — These seacock/mushroom thru-hull combos have buttress threads and must be installed as a set. Any statements you read about being able to use your existing thru-hull (even in the installation instructions) are incorrect. See below for further details about customization options.
