Frequently Asked Questions

1. I am unable to login using my username and password. What should I do?

We are very sorry for the inconvenience! Sometimes computer glitches happen. Please contact us at (206) 632-4462 ext. 4301, toll free at 800-426-6930 ext. 4301 or click the “Feedback” button (located on the left-hand side of the screen) during regular business hours Monday – Friday 7:30AM to 5:00PM and someone will be able to get you connected immediately.

 

2. What happens if I have trouble logging in or registering during Off-Hours?

Fisheries Supply's offices are open 7:30AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday (excluding New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas). If you are registering and don't have a PIN, please select "I don't have a PIN" or if you are having difficulty logging in click the “Feedback” button (on the left-hand side of the screen) and leave us a message. We will contact you during our normal business hours, if not sooner, to verify that you are indeed the owner of this account and enable your online access or fix your login issue.

 

3. What is a Fisheries Supply PIN?

The Fisheries Supply PIN is an automatically generated identification code (6 characters long and case sensitive) that is assigned to your customer account. The PIN signifies that your account customer administrator has determined you should be immediately set up to use the account online. This number has been given to your account customer administrator. If you are the account customer administrator and don’t know your account PIN please contact us during business hours Monday – Friday 7:30AM to 5:00PM at (206) 632-4462 ext. 4301, toll free at 800-426-6930 ext. 4301 or click the “Feedback” button (located on the left-hand side of the screen).

 

4. I have a Fisheries Supply PIN but when do I use it?

The Fisheries Supply PIN is used during the web account registration process and sometimes when you forgot your password. The PIN will give you immediate access to your online account and is used in the last field when registering. If you need to reset your password, the PIN is used sometimes in place of your security question.

 

5. I don’t have a Fisheries Supply PIN. Where do I find it?

If you believe there is already a registered account administrator for this Fisheries Supply account or you’re not sure, you can do 1 of 2 things:

  • Ask your account administrator to provide you with the online PIN
  • Register without a PIN and click Submit. An email will be sent to your company’s account administrator asking them to enable your login. Once you click submit, the next screen will inform you who your request was emailed to.

 

6. What is a Fisheries Supply Item Number?

The Fisheries Supply Item Number is our unique number often referred to as "Order Number" in our catalog and as "SKU#" in our Price Book and invoices.

 

7. What is a Manufacturer Part Number?

The Manufacturer Part Number is a part number that the manufacturer assigns the product. For example, Sea-Dog Open Base Cleat has a manufacturer part number of 041604-1. In our catalog the manufacturer's part number is the second column next to the Order#. In Fisheries Supply Price Book it is the first column called "Mfg/Part#". On your invoices it is the second column called "Part Number".

 

8. How do I create an order?

Shop

Items you may purchase can be found numerous ways: 'Shop by Department', 'Shop by Brand' and Product Search. Shopping by department allows you to browse through our products by categories such as "Paint" or "Deck Hardware". "Shop by Brand" allows you to browse through our products by a specific manufacturer. On each product page you will need to specify the quantity and add them to your cart.

 

Review

After each item is added to your cart you will be taken to your cart to confirm that the items and quantities are correct and available. Please take the time to double check your order (especially the back-ordered items). Any items can be easily removed or edited at this time.


Checkout

When you have finished shopping, click on your cart (located at the top-right of any page). Check the items in your cart one last time then click 'Checkout'. From here you will be taken through a progression of steps shown at the top of the page. Next you will select a shipping address or add a new one, select a shipping method, then enter payment information. After all the steps are completed a confirmation screen will appear that shows your complete order, shipping and payment information; this is the last time you can edit this information before the order is placed.


Order Complete

Your order has been placed when you get an order number. If for some reason you do not immediately receive an order number one with be emailed to you as soon as your order is successfully placed.

 

9. What is Quick Order?

Quick Order is a very quick way to order items without having to find the item. To use Quick Order you simply enter Fisheries Item No. or a Manufacturer's part number and we match the number you enter to the number we have in our files. A small description is given for confirmation of correctness but no picture or other information is given. This tool is useful only if you do not need any product information to make a selection.

 

10. Should I use Quick Order?

To use Quick Order you need to have the Fisheries Item No. or a Manufacturer's part number (that can be found in Fisheries Supply Catalog or Price Book). If you do not know any of these numbers or need product information such as size to make your selection then Quick Order is not for you. But if you have these numbers and quickly want to add then to your cart then you should use quick order.

 

11. What is a Commercial Account?

A commercial account is for use by anyone purchasing products for resale or for commercial marine use (i.e., Boat Dealer, Boat Repair Facility, Boat Builder, Boat Yard, Rigger, Yacht Brokers, Charter Companies, Commercial Fishermen, etc.). 12. Do you have any walkthroughs for certain features?

Yes, we have walkthroughs for both the Import My Items feature and the Worksheets feature. More are on their way. Please use the feedback tab if you'd like to see a specific walkthrough added.
