SeaGold offers the beauty and durability of varnish, the ease of use of synthetic wood treatments, and all while being low-odor, low VOC, and user friendly.
Use SeaGold anywhere above the waterline on teak, mahogany, or oak.

SeaGold produces a beautiful, long-lastin, translucent amber satin finish that lets the natural beauty of the underlying wood grain show through.
If you prefer a gloss finish, SeaGold can be overcoated with a single coat of Pettit's Captain's Varnish.

In SeaGold, UV-stable resins are combined with additional UV inhibitors to provide a long lasting finish that will not turn brown or orange with exposure to the elements.
Its fast-drying formula allows 3 to 4 coats to be applied in one day.
Unlike many other wood treatments, SeaGold can be applied over existing varnishes that are in good condition, and its translucent amber color does not hide or blur the wood grain.

Maintenance is easy. When it is time to renew the coating, simply give it a quick scuffing with a synthetic abrasive pad (typically a 3M green or maroon pad), wipe down with water, and you're ready to apply a new coat.
Clean up is made easy with soap and water. SeaGold is VOC compliant in all areas.

Note that the higher the humidity is, the longer the drying times will be.

SeaGold can be overcoated with a coat of Pettit's Captain's Varnish to achieve a gloss finish.
