Bypass Oil Filtration Replacement Elements, Replacement Element - LFS-802

Racor's LFS By-Pass Elements are made of a computer-engineered wound cotton woven media that is designed to provide more efficient filtration for a signifcantly longer period of time.

Pleated cellulose and centrifuge filters don’t have the media capacity that the Bypass Oil Series filter element does. Also, stacked disc, pleated and mulched cellulose media filters are not effective for the removal of water from engine lube oil.

The Racor LFS Bypass Oil Element removes dirt, varnish, ash, tar, soot and moisture that the engine's full-flow filter cannot remove from your engine’s oil.
It also removes condensed water, which forms component-damaging acids if left in the oil.

The LFS Element removes contaminants down to one micron, which minimizes wear and extends engine component life.
The "polishing effect" of the LFS Filter and the use of the Racor Oil Analysis System will allow the engine oil service intervals to be extended.
By reducing the disposal of waste oil, the system also contributes to preserving the environment.

Superior Oil Filtration
The winding pattern of the element creates many identical spiral passageways, tapered in cross section so as to trap the larger particles near the outer portion of the element and the smaller particles as the oil flows inward through the element.
Solids are filtered by entrapment in the filter media throughout the entire depth of the element, reducing damaging particles by 99%.
