Designed to supply the volume of water required to keep bait and catch alive and healthy, these pumps feature long life motors for outstanding reliability, performance and durability. They are silent running and vibrationless and are a must on any serious fisherman's boat.
"Cartridge Pumps" feature easily replaceable (snap-out/snap-in) motors - the most likely portion of the pump to need replacement after many years of service. This allows easy repalcement of the motor, while allowing you to re-use the connections and plumbing hoses of the livewell installation. The catridge feature also allows complete access to the impeller for easy cleaning.
This innovative design includes a "push button", quick removal motor cartridge, and a discharge outlet that can revolve 360° around the pump body.
Each pump has an integral unused 3/4" NPT outlet port (with hex plug) suitable for connecting a second item, such as a washdown pump, to share the same thru-hull opening - keeping holes in your boat to a minimum.
• Anti-airlock protection feature
• Water-cooled motor with stainless steel shaft
• Strong, glass-filled nylon hose adaptors
• Includes both straight and 90° outlet hose adapters
• Pump discharge can be rotated to any position around the pump body
• Pump should be installed such that the inlet hole on the outside of the hull is underwater when the boat is not moving
"C" models have a 4" long straight-thread side inlet tube (3/4" dia.) that angles down 15°. The inlet tube is equipped with a backing flange, sealing gasket, and exterior securing nut.
When mounted to the hull, the body of these pumps is typically oriented vertically. When installing, the inlet tube is inserted through a hole in the hull, and the securing nut tightened down on the outside of the hull to secure the installation. Any excess inlet tube length sticking out beyond the nut is then sawn off flush to the top of the nut.
Other members of the Tournament Livewell Series:
"FC" models have a 1" long threaded bottom inlet with 3/4" male NPT threads for screwing directly into the top of a seacock.
"STC" models have a 4-1/4" long straight-thread bottom inlet tube (3/4" dia.). The inlet tube is equipped with a backing flange, sealing gasket, and exterior securing nut.
When mounted to the hull, the body of these pumps is typically oriented nearly horizontally. When installing, the inlet tube is inserted through a hole in the hull, and the securing nut tightened down on the outside of the hull to secure the installation. Any excess inlet tube length sticking out beyond the nut is then sawn off flush to the top of the nut.
