Maxijacket Urethane Rope Coating - Clear, Quart

Maxijacket is a urethane coating that is applied after the rope is braided. Maxijacket firms the rope, increases snag resistance, improves abrasion resistance, and helps keep contaminants from entering the rope.
Maxijacket has no effect on the ropes spliceability.

Maxijacket is the same type of coating used to impart the yellow color to Yale's yellow Ultrex rope, or the blue or gray color to the otherwise white Amsteel rope.

Unlimited lengths of coated rope may be processed in the Yale factory on automated coaters, which apply and control the polymer penetration and cure the coating at precisely controlled temperatures.

• Available in a range of colors for rapid line identification
• Colors are also useful to track time in service, to color code for load rating, or to make the rope more visible.

Aftermarket Maxijacket (sold here) is available by the quart or gallon.
It comes as a water-based urethane, premixed with color pigment for hand application.
