Complete Hyd. Trim Tab Systems - w/ Drop Fin Tabs

Drop Fin Trim Tab Systems are the same as Standard Trim Tab Systems but with 3" deep side fins on the fore/aft edges of the tabs.
Drop Fin trim tabs are only available with a 12" chord.

Drop Fin trim tabs are specifically designed for installation on boats where a wider tab would normally be recommended, but transom width is limited and there isn't enough room for the recommended width tab.*
A drop fin tab provides more lift than a standard tab and has the performance of a trim tab that is approximately 6" wider.

Drop fins also help the boat to track a straighter line through the water and help the boat get on a plane faster than a standard tab of the same width.

It's not all good news, however. In rough sea conditions, ironically, chaotic wave action can catch the fins and actually make the boat more squirrely to drive.
