Boat Shaft & Collar Zincs

Shaft anodes are a crucial part of protecting your propeller shaft from galvanic corrosion – and should be checked once a year, if not more often. A shaft zinc (also referred to as a limited clearance collar anode) is usually made up of two parts that connect directly around your shaft so that stray electrical current will attack the anode instead of your shaft. When installing a new shaft anode, make sure the shaft is completely clean as the metal to metal connection is what makes the anode work properly. Fisheries Supply offers a variety of shaft collar sizes to meet your needs – in zinc, aluminum or magnesium anodes – so shop today and protect your investment!
