Dolphinite is a heavy-bodied (peanut butter consistency) compound for bedding hardware and fastenings in keels, transoms, moldings, shaftlogs, masts, and decks. It withstands atmospheric conditions without hardening, softening, or oozing. Will not dry and crack. It skins over, but under the surface it remains soft and flexible. Provides a waterproof seal for every joint and fitting through years of service. May be used on wood, fiberglass, or metal, wherever two pieces are fitted together and a waterproof, dustproof seal is desired. Paint may be applied over the bedding compound after the surface has acquired a firm skin. Performance has been proved and accepted by boat builders and boat yards, alike.
