Description
System B batten cars are designed for monohulls with mainsails of less than 675 ft² or multihulls with less than 550 ft². Track is made of one-piece solid aluminum construction that is lightweight and strong. Cars and headboard plates are deep-saturation Hardkote anodized and Teflon® impregnated for durability. High load cars with aluminum end caps and Torlon® balls are used on monohull with mains to 800 ft² and on multihulls with mains as large as 650 ft².
• Use both slider and CB cars use same track; mix and match for optimal performance and cost
• CB cars run on free-rolling ball bearings with a quick release button that lets you easlily hoist, reef, or remove the mainsail
• Slider cars offer a lightwieght, cost-effective way to hoist, reef, or douse the mainsail by running on low-friction pastic inserts
