Sphaera 25 Rub Rail Slim Base Only - Black (for 1" Insert)

Sold as separate components, Sphaera Rub Rail has changed the world of traditional stainless steel rub rails with its clean looks, adaptability and ease of installation.

The Sphaera Rub Rail System —
Sphaera is composed of stainless steel inserts which mount over your choice of traditional thick, or a thin semi-rigid PVC base.
The bases are sold by the foot to eliminate waste and undesireable joints.

This entry features the lighter, thin PVC Base Component for the Sphaera Rub Rail System. It is just a thin pad that protects the surface of the vessel and is barely visible when installed. It presents a "clean", slim rub rail look.

This thin base, compared to the thicker, traditional style PVC base, offers less shock absorption in collisions or rough landings.

The thick PVC base is available in four widths and two colors. This is the black version.
Pair it with the matching series of Sphaera Stainless Steel Inserts.

The installation is completed by adding the appropriate width cosmetic joint caps and end caps, as needed.

Sphaera series are numbered according to the width of the Stainless Steel Insert in millimeters - Sphaera 25mm, Sphaera 35mm, etc. When selecting components, always make sure the series number matches.
