The angle of the aluminum cleating arm can be set in one of three different positions for optimum control. Camcleat and “Fast Track” fairlead can also be mounted under the cleat arm if downward cleat release is preferred. Twin rows of ball bearings support the cleat arm, and stops are provided to limit rotation to 260° to prevent fouling lines. If required, the stops can be removed to allow full 360° rotation. An innovative adjustable ratchet system in the base can be used to apply resistance to rotation, but can also be turned off for free swiveling. The stand-up block attachment fork is suitable for blocks with a 3/16" (5mm) head pin such as Ronstan Series 50 and 60 ball bearing and ratchet blocks.
