Side-Power Voltage Conversion Box

This convenient series/parallel switch box (voltage converter) provides safe, reliable 24V power for a 24V thruster in a 12V boat.
It enables the installation of SE100 thru SE170 24V thrusters in boats with a 12V system.

By installing an additional 12V battery along with this Conversion Box, you can supply 24V for the thruster’s operation:
When the thruster is not running, the batteries are connected in parallel so the extra battery is charged by the boat's normal 12V charging system. When the thruster is running, the conversion box automatically switches the batteries into a series configuration supplying 24V power to the thruster.
The reliability of this fully automatic system has been proven in hundreds of boats over many years.
