Center Point Locator Tool - Standard w/ SS Tip

Use this tool to accurately locate the positions to drill the mounting holes for (typically) male Fastmount Standard Profile Self-Tapping Clips.
This allows you to align the self-tapping clip pairs in panel and frame for correct engagement during use.

Once the female socket clips are mounted in your substrate (overhead, settee, seat back, etc.) insert these CP-01-ST tools into each female socket, position your panel or cushion in place over the substrate, and press to mark the locations where the male self-tapping clips need to be installed. This produces a perfect alignment every time. (Not necessary for mounting glue-on surface mount male clips.)

This CP-01-ST standard profile center point tool includes a stainless steel tip, allowing it to mark items made of both soft and hard materials
It fits the 10 mm blind holes in panel drilled with CT-09, or fits into PC-F1A, PC-SF1, PC-RF1 and PC-AF1 female clips.

NOTE – For installations where the male clip locations must be planned first, the CP-01-ST tool will also fit in the 10mm male clip mounting holes, and once placed, can be used to locate the positions of the corresponding female clips.
