This is 3M's most popular valved disposable dust mask "respirator".

With its thicker, soft inner lining and edge padding, the 8511 mask provides a step up in long use comfort from the 8210 and 8210-V.

This "respirator" particulate dust mask helps provide comfortable protection against dust during sweeping, sanding, grinding, working with fiberglass insulation, drywall sanding and other non-oil aerosol, dust laden environments.

Note: According to the CDC website (8/7/20), because the direct-vented exhalation valve on this mask releases unfiltered air when the wearer breathes out, this mask doesn't adequately prevent the wearer from spreading Coronavirus.
