Marine High Gloss Gelcoat Compound

This paste compound is an aggressive gelcoat compound for removing heavy oxidation and scratches. It quickly removes 600 grit dual action or 1000 grit wet sanding scratches from production gelcoat. In spite of its name, this compound should be followed by a polish for a true high gloss finish; see below.

Best results are obtained when used with a 3M Superbuff™ (#5703) or 3M Hook-It™ (#5719) Compounding Pad on a slow speed polisher (1,500-2,500 rpm).

• Contains no wax or silicone
• Unique formulation reduces slinging while buffing
• Leaves a high gloss finish when followed by Finesse-It II Finishing Glaze (# 9048, 35928, 35929) on a separate pad
