Perfect-It Gelcoat Compound + Polish

3M™ Perfect-It™ Gelcoat Compound + Polish is a professional-grade, dual-function formula.
It is designed to be used as a single-step compound and polish, or as a second step finish, for eliminating P1000 and finer scratches, scuff marks, and other surface blemishes using a 3M wool compounding pad.
Intended for use on gelcoat surfaces (even darker colored gelcoat) including marine, RV, and industrial applications.
It does not contain wax.
Designed to work in a broad range of climates.

Gelcoat Compound + Polish has a non-gritty formula, works on all types of gelcoat surfaces, and is especially designed for use on dark colored gelcoats – where swirl marks and other defects are paricularly easy to see.
It leaves an extremely fine finish with easy clean up.
To reduce compounding time 3M recommends refining previous sanding (sandpaper) marks with 3M™ Trizact™ 1500 before compounding.

• Removes P1000 and finer scratches on gelcoat while offering a high gloss and fine finish (even on darker colored gelcoat), reducing time and expense
• Formula provides longer wet time for extended product life and easier cleanup
• Suitable for all gelcoat surfaces including marine, RV and industrial
• For added protection apply 3M™ Boat Wax (PN 36112/36113) after compounding is completed
• Compound between 1200 and 2000 rpm using a buffer equipped with a 3M™ wool compounding pad
• Always use a dry microfiber 3M High Performance Cloth or a VERY soft rag to remove any remaining residue or sling
