3M's top-of-the-line, the 9100 Series welding helmet is designed for optimal comfort and protection, and is suitable for all welding applications.

The radical technology behind the highly adjustable 9100 head suspension fundamentally changes not only how you wear the helmet, but also how you experience fit, stability and balance.
The 9100 helmets have a smooth up-and-down pivot action that gently locks in the "up" position.
The suspension keeps the helmet closer to user's head — making the helmet feel lighter, more stable, and balanced at all times.
Highly adjustable, the harness conforms to your head, significantly reducing pressure for optimal comfort that lasts all day.

The premium Speedglas Series 9100 Auto-Darkening Filters are known for their outstanding optical quality, including uniform shading and minimal distortion across the entire filter viewing area.
They provide constant protection from ultraviolet and infrared (UV/IR) radiation, and consistently switch from light to dark in less than 1/10,000 of a second.
The high optical clarity helps welders reduce the need for grinding and rework by allowing them to place electrodes with the helmet in the down position.
By selecting the right setting for each task, you help reduce eye strain and can improve the quality of every weld.

• Superior optics with wide viewing area
• Use for all arc welding processes: tack welding, stick, MIG, TIG, and plasma, as well as grinding
• SideWindow option doubles your field of vision
• Exhaled air is channeled out via side exhaust vents - reduces heat, humidity, and fogging
• Increased coverage for ear and side of head
• Seven dark shades, including 9-13 (variable), 5 for gas welding/cutting, and 8 for micro-plasma or low-amp TIG
• Four sensitivity levels for adjustment for various welding processes and ambient light levels
• Outstanding low-amp TIG performance, even on settings as low as 1 amp
• Any shade can be “locked-in.” For example, you can lock-in the light state shade 3 for grinding
• Exclusive, innovative “tack welding comfort mode” which can help reduce eye strain
• Adjustable arc detection sensitivity for unsurpassed switching reliability
• Delay function allows you to set the dark-to-light switching time
• Viewing area 9100X: 2.1" x 4.2" (8.8 sq in)
• Viewing area 9100XX: 2.8" x 4.2" (11.75 sq in) - 30% larger than any other Speedglas welding filter
• Meets the requirements of CSA Z94.3 and the high impact requirements of ANSI Z87.1 - 2010
