9" Superbuff III Double-Sided Compounding Pad

For those who prefer a two-sided pad, this is 3M's recommended pad for gelcoat compounding and finishing.
This pad is our best selling double-sided pad.

The 05703 is a 100% wool pad with a firm, built-in backing pad for greater cutting power.
This pad has soft, loosely twisted yarn construction providing fast cutting while leaving a softer, finer finish.

For proven, outstanding results, we suggest you use this compounding pad with 3M Imperial Compound & Finishing Material. See below.

• On most gelcoat surfaces this could be the only pad you need to attain a full gloss finish
On darker gelcoat colors where it's easier to see any remaining swirl marks, if additional polishing steps are required, we recommend using 3M's #05705 double sided polishing pad
• Fits all standard (5/8") slow speed polishers
• To keep the back side of the pad from skinniing your knuckles, use the #5710 Superbuff stand-off adapter — which extends the buffer shaft length, while its shoulder prevents the pad from screwing too far down onto the shaft and sticking out through the pad. See Related Products, below
