Grinding Disc Pad Hub - All 4" - 9" Backing Plates; 5/8-11 Short Shaft Grinders

This "Short Shaft" Hub has its own built-in extension shaft allowing you to attach it to short shaft grinders, and still have threads available to spin on a retaining nut, or a TN threaded grinding disc.
This hub can also be used on long shaft grinders.
For the ultimate in no-tool, fast and easy interchange of discs during the various phases of a grinding job — use this Hub to hold an appropriate 3M Backing/Face Plate, along with any 3M TN Quck Connect equipped grinding or Scotch-Brite™ disc. The 5/8-11 TN discs just spin on and spin off.
For those who prefer using a traditional 7/8" center hole disc, you will need to secure the disc over the backing plate with the appropriate retainer nut for your grinder, instead of simply spinning on a TN disc.
