This is Battle Born's flagship 100Ah 12V LiFePO₄ Deep Cycle Battery.
Designed for long-term use, these lithium-ion batteries can last up to 10 times longer than traditional lead-acid batteries, providing 3,000-5,000 deep discharge cycles versus 500-1,200 for lead-acid.
Compared to a conventional lead-acid battery, this 31 lb Battle Born rechargeable battery is 1/5th the weight for the same amount of usable power. It provides up to 3x more power in the same physical volume, and charges 5x faster.
With maximum safety, flexibility, and versatility, this LiFePO₄ battery is maintenance-free, produces no emissions, and can be wired in series or parallel and installed in any position, orientation, or space.
• Drop-In replacement for Group 27 & Group 31 batteries
• Rugged design built for RV, camper van, boat, trolling motor, industrial, off-grid, and residential backup applications
• Charges up to 5 times faster than comparble lead-acid batteries
• Lasts up to 10 times longer – 3,000-5,000 deep discharge cycles provide 10-15 years of power
• Allowed 100% Depth of Discharge and no memory effect means you can take the charge level down to zero using the entire power capacity of the battery – no need to worry about or monitor 50% discharge levels as with other betteries
• Can be wired in series or parallel, and mounted in any orientation
• Safe, reliable, and most stable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery chemistry available
• Premium UL-listed cylindrical battery cells
• Lightweight at just 31 pounds with full 100Ah of usable power power
• Internal Battery Management System (BMS) circuitry provides protection against extreme hot and cold temperatures, high and low voltages, short circuits, charging below 32°F, and other common causes of battery failure
• Available in capacities from 100Ah - 600 Ah
• 10-year warranty and lifetime technical support
This Battle Born Battery comes complete with cable mounting hardware.
Heavy on the technical side...
All rechargeable batteries can be discharged over a large temperature range, but their charging temperature range is limited due to rising internal resistance when cold.
For best results, charge between 50°F and 86°F. Lower the charge current when charging below 41°F.
Older lead-acid battery technologies have higher charging tolerances than newer systems such as Li-ion – allowing them to be charged at temperatures below freezing.
When it comes to cold-charging, Li-ion batteries need special care – especially below 41°F.
Many battery users are unaware that consumer-grade lithium-ion batteries should not be charged when below 32°F (0°C).
Although the battery appears to be charging normally, plating of metallic lithium occurs on the anode leading to permanent degradation in performance and safety.
