Phillips drive, truss head, self-tapping (sheet metal) screws.

• Can be used in place of a pan head to cover larger diameter clearance holes in pieces requiring extra play during assembly.
• A truss head screw has a relatively large diameter head, and an especially low profile protruding above the surface of the material to be fastened; the top surface is slightly domed
• Also known as mushroom head, oven head, or stove head
• Length is measured from under the head to the end of the fastener
