Description
Groco's SBV Series seacocks are used for the raw water intake of the engine and have an integral plug in the side of the body which can be removed in flooding emergencies. This enables the running engine to use water in the bilge as a source of cooling water - effectively turning the engine into a high-powered, emergency bilge pump.
• Full pipe-size flow
• Stainless steel ball and stem with Teflon® seats and seals
• Cast bronze; base has provisions for bonding system attachment
• Two driver ports permit handle relocation
• Included "Service Adaptor" fits into the plug port, and provides a garden hose connection for winterizing the engine with anti-freeze, or routine flushing of the cooling system
