Unit 1 MKIV Furling System Toggles

Harken® toggle assemblies accept standard turnbuckles using swage, rod, Norseman®, or Sta-Lok® terminals.
Unit 1 toggles are available in four styles in 1 or 2 sizes (see image) for 1/2" or 5/8" headstay clevis pins.

This is a required purchase for all Unit 1 MKIV Ocean furlers.
Also a required purchase for those Unit 1 MKIV Racing furlers sold without toggles.

The eye x jaw toggle can be flipped for fork or tang stem/chainplate fitting installations.
A single stainless steel clevis pin provides access to the turnbuckle for adjustment.

Use a Long Link Plate Toggle to raise the furling drum higher off the deck to avoid obstacles such as anchors, bow rollers or windlasses. While the drum is higher, the headstay/turnbuckle rigging length remains the same.
The #7311.21 long link plates for Unit 1 furlers have several height adjustment options which, depending on whether the plate is used full length or shortened to one of the five additional hole positions, will raise the drum and shorten the luff extrusion length between:
• 6-5/8" and 13-1/4" for 1/2" clevis pin systems
• 4-3/8” and 11-1/4” for 5/8" clevis pin systems
