Warehouse Associate Position

Fisheries Supply is looking for full time employees to join our warehouse team. Our warehouse associates are teamsters local 117 which offers great pay and benefits. The position we are looking to fill is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.

Position Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, verifying for accuracy against purchase documents, and stock inventory in the proper location.
• Inspect inventory for damage. Notify Receiving Manager of problems.
• Pick orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pack and process orders for shipment.
• Organize, clean and maintain warehouse space.
• Follow all company standards, safety, and accident procedures while on company premises.
• Safely operate equipment such as delivery vehicles, forklift, pallet jack, order picker, and lifts.
• Fulfill all other assigned duties assigned from warehouse management.
• Substitute delivery driver when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular and frequent basis while using appropriate lifting techniques and following all safety rules.
• Be on your feet up to eight (8) hours
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable with dependable transportation
• Able to work independently, use time wisely.
• Follows directions
• Work as a team to assist company growth and have a desire to satisfy customer needs.
• 1-year previous warehouse experience is preferred

Pay & Benefits

• Salary range $22-$28.05.
