Ocean Hatch

Found on thousands of vessels around the world, the Ocean Hatch has classical styling and rugged construction for ultimate protection against the elements. These are traditional high profile hatches with satin finsihed aluminum frames.
• Available with a flat or flanged base; flanged models have 1" deep flange (spigot)
• Height above deck level: 1-9/16" sizes 10 - 40; 1-11/16" sizes 44 - 70
• Shock resistant acrylic lens: sizes 10 - 40 are 3/8" thick; sizes 44 - 70 are 1/2" thick
• Friction lever allows for any open position between 30° and 90° without the need for support arms
• Hatch opens 180° for easy access
• Conforms to CE Area 2a: deck, coachroof, cockpit or transom use (tested to 2 psi)
• Internal/external lockable handles
• Hinges are attached outside the frame to prevent leakage
• Fits other Lewmar standard cut-outs
• Deck thickness: min/max 1" to 2-13/16" (using available trim kit)
• Optional ABS plastic trim kits with UV resistant flyscreens are available (see separate entry)
• Note: Trim kit increases each cut-out dimension by approximately 4mm; see Fisheries Supply website for cut-out dimensions
• Note: Flat base hatches cannot be used with Trim Kits or Roller Shades
