What you need to know –
• LED 180 Degree Red Light (Half All-Round)
• 2 Nautical Mile visibility, 180° red beam
• Certified for use on all vessels less than 50m (164 ft) in length (Vessels under 12m, 12-20m, and 20-50m)
• Mounts on vertical surfaces
• Machined aluminum housing
• 12V/24V
These "half-round" lights are typically purchased and mounted in pairs. They are designed to be fitted on both sides of a ship's instrument or sail mast to effectively create
an all-round light in situations where the mast may otherwise block a portion (greater than the allowed 6°) of the beam of a standard all-round light mounted in the same position.
With proper orientation, maximum separation of the halves (width of mast) is 1 meter.
This light has a visibility range of 2 nautical miles, and is suitable for all power and sail vessels less than 164 ft (50m) in length.
These lights feature long service life, rugged aluminum block construction and have an IP68 waterproof rating.

To ensure that the light has the required intensity/visibility, each Lopo navigation light includes a microprocessor-controlled flashing signal. The micro-processor keeps track of how many hours the LED has been in use. When the light is first turned on, the signal flashes a code indicating either normal functioning, nearing end of service life, or 50,000 hours of use accomplished - time to replace. (50,000 hours is equivalent to over 4,000 twelve-hour nights.)
Together with an appropriate Control & Monitoring System,
such as Lopolight’s NLC this navigation light can form part of an IMO MSC 253(83), LY3 and LY4 compliant system.
