SS Low Profile Deck Hatch - Inside Opening Rectang

These are beautiful, heavy-duty, mirror polished hatches worthy of being installed on the most elegant yachts. Stamped from heavy gauge stainless steel and formed with rolled edges, a photo doesn't really do them justice. Seeing them in person, you can really appreciate just how solidly built these hatches are.

• CE Approved. According to ISO/DIS 12216 Deck Hatches are approved for Area II, III, and IV, designs for craft type "any"
• Low profile elegant appearance - no fasteners are visible when hatch is closed
• 316 stainless steel frames, hatch, hatch arms and hinges
• Hand polished and electro-polished to protect against corrosion
• Frames and hatches are made from machine rolled stock to ensure strength and low weight
• Positive easy to operate stainless arms allow the hatch lid to lie completely flat on the deck when fully opened
• Pull-turn knobs allow hatch lid to be held open in multiple positions
• Adjustable injection molded nylon 66 handles
• Set screw adjustment in each hinge to avoid hinge pins coming out
• Heavy-duty, tough, glare resistant acrylic lens is 1/2" thick
• Lens comes standard in gray tint, but clear and green tinted lenses are avilable by special order
• Gaskets are made of oil-resistant Sanplane
• Designed for installation on flat decks or surfaces with a maximum tolerance of ±2 mm
• Hatches are completely flat on the bottom surface and have no spigots - so the inside opening and cut-out opening are the same dimensions
