CLMD16 16-Channel DC Load Controller Module without Connections
The MPower® CLMD16 is a 16-Channel DC Load Controller Module designed for larger breakers and multiple circuits. It features four breakers rated for a maximum of 25 amps and twelve breakers rated for a maximum of 12 amps, with an overall current capacity of 125 Amps.
Furthermore, circuits can be configured in parallel. The CLMD16 is equipped with two H-Bridge circuits for reversing polarity, suitable for applications such as engine hatches, passerelles, and trim tabs. It includes eight inputs for hard-wired switches, which can be utilized to toggle breaker states or to receive data from other sources like bilge alarms or hatch positions.
Additionally, there are three inputs available for monitoring tank levels. The CLMD16 is capable of managing various DC load types, including lights, pumps, motors, and electronics. A significant advantage of the CLMD16 is its ability to report the current flowing through each of the 16 breakers, enabling the identification of loads that may be drawing excessive or insufficient electrical current. This functionality is essential for detecting overcurrent faults and under-current situations, such as burnt-out bulbs.
The CLMD16 -R comes with a 1m mating connector for both the J1 and J2 connectors and a 1m I/O harness kit for the J3 connector. (CLMD16 has no connectors included)
