The Happy Hooker tool allows you to pass a line around a pole, stanchion, or mooring — from a distance.
It accomplishes this via an ingenious toggling link that can attach to one side ot the forked hook, and then to the other side — automatically.
The Happy Hooker is ideal for securing your boat at the dock, where it lets you reach out over the water to single handedly place a line around a stanchion — without having to lean out over the water.
