Fig. 0159 Fog Bell - 8" Stamped Chromed Brass

This bell has been reviewed by the U.S. Coast Guard and complies with C.G. 169 regulations for Sound Signal Appliances as required by Annex III paragraph 2 of the '72 COLREGS.
By the Inland Rules Annex III Section 86.23, 8 inch bells are required for vessels over 12m (39.4 ft) and up to 20 meters (65.6 ft.) in length.
By both International and Inland Rules, 12 inch bells satisfy the requirements for vessels over 20m and can be used on vessels of any length.
