ParFit Heated Fuel Filter Head Assembly

This Racor Fuel Filter is a direct fuel filter replacement for year 2005-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax diesel engines.
Over time, the seals in the original factory filter head are known to leak causing issues such as hard starting, air leaks, and priming issues. Replacing the entire assembly eliminates the hassle of having to rebuild the unit.
Racor is the OEM supplier to GM for this filter and assembly.

Suitable for colder weather applications, these filters include a heating element.
The heating units are situated in the body of each filter, directly below the filter element for maximum heat transfer in cold weather starting and operation. These heaters begin to work in just a few moments, place minimal demand on the battery, and are particularly important for today's modern fuel blends and the requirements of advanced electronic diesel engines.

The coalescing filter system inside has up to twice the life and improved water removal in all blends and types of diesel fuel when compared to other paper media filters.

How the Filter Works:
The Racor coalescer fuel filter system contains a primary coalescing and a secondary polishing stage.
The coalescing stage has multiple layers of specialized media that traps dirt and extracts finely dispersed water out of diesel fuel.
The secondary filter strips away any remaining water and polishes the fuel.
This Racor coalescer system provides up to twice the life when compared to standard pleated media filters.
