Description
Schaefer's 10 Series blocks feature stainless steel cheeks, forged "D" shackles, universal head swivels, stainlesss steel straps for exceptional strength and your choice of either Lexan or our High performance "UC" sheaves. Lexan sheaves use our Nomex(tm)/Teflon(tm) bearings for high strength and a low-friction bearing surface. "UC" sheaves use this bearing as well as a self-contained circuit of Delrin(tm) ball bearings for a very smooth and strong block. These are the blocks to have when you sail to remote locations, because they feature bolted construction so they can be easily disassembled for maintenance or parts replacement.
• "UC" models feature high performance Universal Circuit Sheaves and incorporate an aluminum alloy sheave for high-tech lines or wire, low-friction Nomex/Teflon® bushings and dual races of Delrin® ball bearings
• Easy spinning Nomex/Teflon bushing system impregnated with Teflon® is immune to load-induced distortion, point loading or maintenance associated with roller bearings
• Investment cast, three-way stainless head, forged D shackles
