These Gas Tank Vents are essential for maintaining the proper air flow required for fuel flow during filling and usage. They are designed to accommodate changes in tank level due to consumption and temperature-related expansion and contraction. Additionally, they serve as a pressure release valve for the gas tank and prevent vacuum build-up that could disrupt fuel delivery.
