S-76 Strontium Chromate Primer Kit - 2 Gallon Kit

S-76 Tack Coat Primer is an anti-corrosive strontium chromate based primer that is specifically designed for use on properly prepared underwater metal surfaces including hulls, running gear, and the lower units of outboards and I/Os.
It provides an excellent barrier to reduce pitting of the metal from galvanic corrosion.

NOTE – S-76 is designed to be used as an undercoat for a second primer such as Tuff Stuff prior to applying an antifoulant ot topcoat.

• Use on properly prepared aluminum, steel, galvanized steel
• Exhibits excellent adhesion and provides corrosion resistance to bare metals
• Ideal for large surfaces
• Color: light yellow
• Apply with brush, roller, or spray at temperatures above 50°F
• No thinning necessary; clean-up with xylene
• Theoretical coverage is 740 ft²/gallon; 2 coats recommended; 46% solids (by vol.)
