Sound Insulation Hanger Set - 3 Piece

A 3-piece hanger consisting of a steel fastener plate with a 2" pin, a steel speed washer, and an aluminum domed cap.

The fastener plate with pin is installed on the substrate surface to be insulated using screws, nails, staples, epoxy, etc. (Do not use spray adhesive.)
Space fasteners approximately every 15" starting at the center of the panel.
Apply 2 coats of spray adhesive sparingly to the substrate, and one light coat to the soundproofing.
When tacky, press insulation into place.
Push speed washer onto projecting fastener pin until soundproofing is slightly compressed.
Use a pair of wire snips to cut protruding pins approximately 1/8" beyond speed washer.
Install protective domed cap.
