EndRot Wood Restoration Kit - with Fungicide

Rot is a fungus which can spread quickly, infecting, and then destroying sound wood in its path. Replacement can be expensive or time consuming and sometimes nearly impossible. Cutting out the rotten areas may not remove all of the infected wood, which will continue to rot.

Traditionally, penetrating epoxy systems like Rotfix and Sculpwood have been used to consolidate and repair rotted wood. System Three Resins took these epoxy repair products a step further by recognizing that restoration repairs cannot be made permanent if the wood-destroying organisms aren't eliminated and kept from re-infecting the wood.
For this reason System Three Resins has added a wood fungicide to the RotFix®/SculpWood® epoxy repair system to produce EndRot. The wood fungicide used is a borate preservative because it is lethal to the rot fungus, but almost harmless to humans, plants and animals. The EndRot Trial Kit contains enough material to complete a typical repair to a window or door severely damaged by rot, weather, and sun. With most rot repair applications, the SculpWood Putty will be the limiting factor. The EndRot Kit contains 16 Oz of SculpWood Putty, which will fill a volume similar to a softball. The kit is ideal for an individual repair of a window frame, door casing, porch post, baluster, etc. Note that for bigger jobs, all the products contained in the EndRot kit are available individually and in larger sizes.
