SeaStar Pro Steering Kits, 18'

SeaStar® Pro steering is a totally self-contained unit that tames the considerable forces of a high speed, high performance hull and engine. Super-efficient hydraulic operation produces an effect most people equate with power steering, although it is not. Some dash modifications are required when you upgrade from a mechanical system, but there are no pressure valves or power units to mount. SeaStar® Pro fits easily in to the same space as the mechanical system it replaces.
• Use on high performance boats with single non-power-assisted outboards up to 300 HP, especially those capable of speeds over 60 MPH
• Suitable for boats using high performance propellers and jack plates
• Optional Pro cylinders with longer shaft and pivot bushings for a more solid feel
• 4.25 turns lock-to-lock
• Compact helm has only a 4-7/16" footprint and requires only a 3" dash hole; optional tilt helm requires a larger hole
• 3/4" tapered shaft
• Factory swaged hoses are Kevlar® reinforced
• Packaged complete with helm, cylinder, hoses, fittings, oil, bleeder kit and detailed instructions
• Optional tilt helm is available by request as well as several mounting kits, add-a-station kits, and drill jig for professional installers
• Meets ABYC standards and NMMA certification requirements
