Victron VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle

Using the VE.Direct to Bluetooth Smart dongle you can display live status information, including historical values, from your BMV or MPPT information on iOS and Android devices, using the VictronConnect app. View information wirelessly such as battery status and solar panel power, plus it also allows access to some configuration settings. The Victron bluetooth dongle is able to read data from all products with a VE.Direct port, such as the BMV-70x series battery monitors, Phoenix Inverters with VE.Direct port, or the MPPT Solar Charge Controllers. Note: this product was previously called the VE.Direct to Bluetooth LE dongle. There are no differences, only the name has changed from LE to Smart.

Installation Notes:

• Connect the dongle directly to the products
• The dongle cannot be connected to a Color Control GX
• It is not possible to extend the VE.Direct cable
• After connecting the first time, the Blue and Red LED will be blinking fast and alternating. It needs to be updated to the latest firmware, which will happen automatically when connecting to it with VictronConnect
