This type of band is commonly used on a variety of substrates such as metal, wood and fiberglass.
Of the two series of Evenrun Bands available from 3M, Fisheries Supply stocks this higher performance 700 Series abrasive version of these bands for their outstanding performance and durability compared to traditional aluminum oxide bands (300 Series).

The premium 747D series has a Cubitron and aluminum oxide blended abrasive for superior, consistent cutting with higher durability and longer life.
It is constructed on a rigid, heavy X-weight cloth backing.
These 747D bands perform dramatically better than the 341D economy bands (which are available by special order only).
