Description
Scotch-Seal™ 540 Polyurethane Sealant is a component, moisture curing product which form permanently elastic bonds.
It bonds to a wide variety of materials including plastics, fiberglass, SMC, aluminum, steel, coated metals, and wood.
Similar to 560 Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant, but more flexible and with a lower tensile strength.
Unlike stronger structural adhesives, 540 adhesive sealant is removable - making it ideal for use in applications requiring periodic maintenance, re-bedding, relocation, or future modification.
Very high flexibility (low Shore A Hardness) makes 540 good for bonding materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion.
