These coarse, tough, aggressive non-woven discs are ideal for heavy-duty deburring and finishing, depending on the grade chosen.
The familiar Roloc™ TR threaded plastic stub secures these discs to the backing pad/holder; see Related Products, below.
The abrasive mineral used in these discs is an enhanced aluminum oxide which provides a more aggressive cut than the aluminum oxide in SC surface conditioning discs.
You will notice this difference when comparing comparable discs in each series.
For example, a medium grade SE disc is approximately 60% more aggressive cut than a medium SC disc.
The difference in the coarse discs is even more dramatic.
