Awlgrip HDT Polyurethane Topcoat - Empress Blue, Gallon

Awlgrip HDT (High Definition Technology) is a revolutionary high gloss topcoat which is VOC compliant (VOC-420g/L) and gives a hard and repairable finish.
This high performance polyurethane topcoat system offers exceptional gloss and color retention as well as a hard finish with improved micro-scratch resistance.

HDT is applied as a single-stage topcoat to produce a mirror-like finish when it dries. In tests, HDT retained up to 25% more of its gloss after two years than standard polyurethane paint. And because the gloss helps resist UV damage better, the color also lasts longer without fading.

Specially formulated to produce a hard finish, but not so hard that it cannot be repaired in the event of a scratch or hull damage.

This high performance mirror-like single stage topcoat is specifically tailored for use with AkzoNobel toners rather than tint bases. This makes it easier to match colors, giving you access to more colors and exciting new color tools to choose your color faster.

Awlgrip HDT gloss paint is designed for spray application by a professional as the last coat of a multi-layer system. It should be applied over a previous Awlgrip topcoat or over an epoxy primer coat.
