DST-820 Bronze Thru-Hull Triducer Multisensor

The DST820 Smart Multisensor represents the latest advancement in Airmar's proven technology platform, succeeding the DST810 model and incorporating PSTI compliance to strengthen network security infrastructure aboard vessels.

Equipped with secure QR-code initialization, establishing your DST820 connection has become increasingly straightforward and secure. Simply scan the provided QR code and input a single-use security credential through your mobile application to establish network protection for your sensor.

Utilizing Airmar's advanced Gen2 paddlewheel technology, the DST820 achieves exceptional speed-through-water measurement precision—delivering accurate initialization data below 0.3 knots, consistent accuracy beginning at 0.6 knots, and dependable performance extending to 45 knots.

Regardless of your sailing profile—whether casual day sailing, recreational weekend cruising, or competitive racing—reliable speed-through-water (STW) measurements facilitate optimization of sail configuration and rigging equilibrium for superior performance outcomes. For competitive sailors, accurate STW data enables precise velocity made good (VMG) and target speed computations, facilitating evidence-based tactical planning.

The DST820 combined with Airmar's CAST™ application streamlines speed calibration procedures. The complimentary CAST application delivers sophisticated calibration capabilities—previously restricted to expensive computer-based platforms—now readily available through smartphone or tablet interfaces. Select between fundamental or comprehensive calibration methodologies according to your requirements.

In addition to speed measurement, the DST820 quantifies water depth and temperature, and delivers a 5.7 Hz (5× per second) speed transmission with enhanced precision. Its embedded orientation sensor furnishes heel and trim measurements, facilitating heel-adjusted speed calibration across varying heel positions and velocity ranges—executed efficiently, intuitively, and independently from existing vessel instrumentation.

With depth measurement capability spanning 0.5 m (1.6 ft) through 100 m (328 ft), the DST820 furnishes dependable depth information to mitigate grounding hazards.

The outcome: superior speed measurement accuracy, remote calibration accessibility, and contemporary security capabilities—consolidated within a single sophisticated, space-efficient sensor.

• The DST820 is fully compliant with UK PSTI security standards, ensuring that the connection between DST820 and a mobile device is secure.
• The industry’s best speed paddlewheel – DST820 features the Gen2 paddlewheel for industry-leading speed performance from 0.3 knots to 45 knots.
• Smoother Speed – 5.7 Hz speed output (5X per second) for visibly smoother speed-through-water reporting and faster data for better decision-making when every second counts.
• Integrated Attitude Sensor – For heel and trim and used in advanced speed calibration.
• DST820 secure Bluetooth® connectivity to Airmar’s CAST app provides the ability to:
• Calibrate the DST820 in a simple, intuitive way from your mobile device.
• Conduct basic and advanced heel-compensated speed calibrations for improved speed-through-water outputs across the speed range.
• Advanced speed calibration allows for manual speed entries for multiple heel angles and up to 10 speeds, formerly only possible through expensive PC software.
